This pattern simply was inspired by my favourite meal of the day....dessert! If you have ever enjoyed Peach Melba it is a simple dish of halved peaches cooked in syrup and served with rasberry sauce, ice cream and sometimes topped with nuts. It is one of my favourites in the summer time when the Peaches are in season. This ankle sock pattern, like the dessert, is quite simple with a pretty lace peach stitch pattern topped with a contrast stripe and finished with a decorative eyelet cuff and picot bind off.   The sock begins at the toe and is worked continuously with a german short row heel and is finished with your choice of a narrow rib or a foldover eyelet cuff.

The pattern is written and includes a chart for the stitch pattern.
