What is Dye To Order? This listing enables you to order any colour from our current colour range on our Sock Yarn base in the quantity you need. When you place your order we will then dye it for you.
If you are ordering more of a colour you already have please send us a message as we will need more details before we can proceed. 
 
Please allow 2-4weeks for us to dye your order for you. We also offer Dye to Order on our Spin DK base too which you can order here.
 
How do I order?
Enter the total quantity of Sock Yarn you need to be dyed for you. Then in the text field you can enter the number of skeins you need and which colour you would like. So for example you may order 5 skeins in total and in the text field you can enter 3 Night Owl and 2 Smitten Kitten. Make sure to let us know what colours and quantities you need in the text box so as not to delay your order.
 
Hand dyed sock yarn comprising 85% Superwash Merino and 15% Nylon in a 4ply/sock weight. It is wonderfully soft so works well for shawls, sweaters, or baby items just as well as for socks.

This listing is for 1 x 100g skein.
 
Each skein is slightly different from the next even though they were dyed together. If using more than one skein I suggest alternating skeins.
 
Please note: the odd skein may contain a knot, they are few and far between, I prefer to let you know in case it is an issue.
 
Note: If you purchase a Dye to Order listing with an in-stock item in the same order they will all be sent together when the Dye to Order is complete. If you would like the in-stock items sent separately you will need to place a separate order.
 
HOW To LOOK After ME
I am dyed with colour fast acid dyes. I recommend hand washing all hand knits but you can machine wash on a gentle wool cycle with mild detergent. Cold to tepid water and minimal agitation is best. Lay me flat in the shade to dry.
